Profiles and RPG

I have enabled the newest profile system, which is much nicer, in my opinion, than the old one. It may not look great on all of the skins though. You may add comments, friends, and there are tabs on the profiles. Enjoy the new profiles!

And the newest RPG system is out, and we are thinking of switching, but we need your thought. It is a divinity RPG v2. We are really considering to change it to this newer RPG, for the many more features. Please provide feedback on this thread for your opinions!

In other news, we have a new skin. Diary of Jane. It is a bit buggy with the skin with the borders, but it isn't anything big. Enjoy!

UPDATE: You may look at the Divinity RPG v2 in the Devil Wings skin. We thought it would be appropriate since it was an imported skin that does not have a side bar, so things would be less buggy. We hope you enjoy playing around and check it out! smile.gif

Personal Details

Intelligence: Athena is an intelligent woman, often because ever since she grew up, she learned very much from every book she read. This helped her learn very much, and she was also a very good listener in school allowing her to excel.
Personality: Athena is your average mother figure, always helping others out. She is kind, caring, and knows when to be serious or to cut loose. When she is having fun, she is like a child at heart. She loves to learn, and is always curious to everything. Sometimes though, she is considered a talkative person, though she knows when to talk and when not to.
Ambitions: Athena hopes to leave a mark in Aides and go down in history. And also she wishes to become a legend, and make a difference in the world. Before she had an ambition to become a leader, and well, she was able to succeed driving her to succeed in the rest of her dreams.
Habits: She has a habit of talking a bit loud, for being a speaker type person. Sometimes when she writes (during exams or paperwork) she tends to accidentally write too much.
Abilities: She is able to be a quick-learner, learning things after she sees them. Athena is also able to tinker with objects to find out how they work.
Hobbies: Athena enjoys reading, writing, anime, art, piano, all sports, and music.
Talents: Athena is able to play the piano very well. She is also able to do art well including drawing, writing, painting, etc. Athena is also a good speaker.
Likes: Athena likes puppies, bunnies (her pet in the picture is named Annchi), eating duck and won-tons, books, learning, willingful people, smilies, and a lot more.
Dislikes: Rude people, ignorance, cockiness, spiders, death, losing someone close, seafood, etc.
Strengths: She is good at understanding, listening, and helping others. Athena can put what other's say into thoughts and consider them to help her and others improve. She is very organized as well.
Weaknesses: Sometimes she takes jokes to seriously, or is too naive. Also, Athena has a short-temper not letting go of insults, even though she knows she has to.
Fears: The typical fear of death, any bug, hugging big mascots she's never seen before, roller coasters, things like that.
History
Athena Tang came from the noble Tang clan. Athena's family was extremely attached, and she always felt warm ever since she could remember. Her parents had both been politicians, but were able to take care of the family. Athena had always excel, and was one of the model students in her classes. As an always responsible student, many teachers had praised her for her drive, responsibilty, and citizenship. After Athena turned 5, she went to a music store with her parents browsing with her parents while going to the mall. Athena then was she was small played around with the piano. Her parents took notice and enrolled her into piano lessons, in which she adapted quickly and loved. When she was 7 years old her father got awarded the most prestigious award in all of Aides; legend status. This had given her brand new standards, bigger dreams of succeeding, and she wanted to be just like her father. But then 2 years later, her grandmother died, causing a period of mourn. Athena had grieved for a long time, causing her to write, express her thought through singing and writing. This caused her to find her hidden talent, writing. Her parents also noted her voice, loud, but clear and perfect for speaking. Her parents sent her to a private middle school, and she won an award for her grades, earning the Dasylirion Middle School Scholarship Award. Her parents had always taught her about being old fashion, leading her to be very different, though in a good way, from her peers. During her promotion ceremony, Athena Tang was giving a rabbit named Annchi, meaning amazing peace or angel. During high school, Athena became class president going into the high school fameroom. She improved the school very much, pleasing the students and driving them to learn as well. Athena later graduated becoming a valedictorian and getting a scholarship from the most prestigious university in Dasylrion. A week later, her grandfather died from a sudden heart attack, causing more grief upon her but helped her become a stronger person. Athena later earned a doctorate degree in business, making her in glee. Athena Tang later became the leader of Aides, hoping to make it at it's best!

Role-Play Sample
As Athena approached the mountain for a day to relax, she began to feel the gentle breeze, flowing through her hair. Riding on her bike up the mountain, by the time she reached the top, she was exhausted. Wiping the sweat off her forehead, Athena laid down the picnic mat. She then laid down on the picnic mat, hands on the ground. Sighing, Athena opened up the basket, taking out the utensils and food. Hoping that she would find a friend to spend it with. She grabbed her peanut butter and jelly sandwich and took a large bite out of it. Chewing, she could taste the sandwich tingling on her tongue. Her mouth began to get sticky with the peanut butter. She opened a pint carton of orange juice and slowly drank it, with just a drop falling down on the mat. Athena could taste the citrussy taste, and sighed. Tchk Tchk. Clearing her mouth, Athena decided to look out on the scenery, with the mountain just looking down on Town Square. There were a couple ants coming in, but she was able to kill them, apologizing for doing so. It was quite bothersome, and she would never kill ants if they weren't bothersome. Up she went, standing up, pulling down her shirt, and pulling up her pants setting up, and decided to stretch and yawned. Athena felt a little lonely, but she knew there were people near by, and knew she would soon be accompanied by a person.

What kind of a forum is this?
This forum is an RPG forum, meaning Role Playing Game. At the categories marked IC, you role-play in them. If you don't feel like role-playing, then you can talk normally at the OOC category. IC means in character, while OOC means out of character.

What is role-playing?
Role-playing is when you write in the specific forums, what your character does, what they do, and their interaction with other characters. We advise you to make your character at the Character Profile forum, so you know how to act and write on the character. It is possible to have more than one, but we don't advise it to beginners as it is hard to keep track of the,. Once you enter your thread, make sure to note if you left or not. Making things realistic is the key to role-playing. Don't make your character fly because he sprouted wings from thin-air.
